In the Valldalen valley on Sunnmøre there is a summer dream full of strawberries, activities and great adventures for the whole family.
In Valldal Aktivitetspark you will find more than 1,500 meters of climbing courses of all heights and lengths. You are guaranteed to find a course that suits you, regardless of whether you are small or large. Idyllically located along the river, you can bring food and drink, find a place in the sun or the shade, and spend the whole day climbing, cozying up and picnicking.
High-flying ziplines over the river give wind in the hair and tingling in the stomach. A wonderful bag jump with up to 4 meters in free fall, and a small swimming pool with a sandy beach is new this year. It's easy to have fun all day in the activity park.
In a double kayak, you can safely take your children through the majestic world heritage fjord Tafjord, either with or without a guide. Having a guide on such a trip can provide many advantages, especially for children who likely have "a thousand questions" about everything they see and experience. Maybe there will be a sea eagle sailing, or a porpoise swimming past? The fjord is full of experiences.

After a long day out in nature, it might be appropriate to take out the dancing foot, find a bowling ball and start an informal family competition. Who gets to strike first? The winner can perhaps treat himself to a steaming fresh pizza? At Kulå you will find four bowling tracks, billiards and air hockey. In addition to pizza, they also have an a la carte menu and of course their own children's menu. At Kulå there is a good atmosphere and you can choose to sit both outside and inside.
On the second floor, there is excitement to be found in the escape maze TrollDungeon. Here you are lured into the troll's dungeon, and have to find your way out again. Suitable for everyone over 8 years.
Into dreamland
Staying at Valldal Fjordhotell means pleasant hospitality, a private veranda right outside the room, an inviting garden and a few easy steps away from the beautiful fjord. The restaurant also offers tasty, local dishes. Although the hotel is located quietly on the edge of the fjord, it is still centrally located between the center and the popular swimming beach. When the time comes to crawl under a freshly made duvet, it is nice to know that you can sleep well in short raised beds.
